Tornado co-curated this unprecedented exhibition featuring the work of groundbreaking artist Kenneth Howard, aka Von Dutch, at Cal State Northridge and Fullerton’s Grand Central Art Center in 2002. This uniquely talented artist and versatile craftsman kick-started the SoCal phenomenon now known as Kustom Kulture. In addition to organizing the show, we created the invitation, signage, gallery guide, poster, calendar, and website, followed a few years later by a comprehensive book about the artist, The Art of Von Dutch.
